BITZH Signed Cooperation Agreement with University of Kentucky

On the morning of December 7,2016, Dr. Susan Roberts, Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs of University of Kentucky, and Dr. XiuHuajing, Dean of Confucius Institute and Director of China Affairs Office visited BITZH to have an in-depth discussion of starting international cooperation programs. Vice President Professor Zhen Yong warmly welcomed them.

At the beginning of the talk, President Zhen once again welcomed the visitors with open arms. After that, he introduced the current condition of BITZH’s international interaction and cooperation, focusing on cooperation with American universities. President Zhen suggested the start of 2+2 joint undergraduates program, 3+2 Bachelor +Master dual degree program and summer camp program. Dr. Susan Roberts agreed, remarking that Dean of Business School of University of Kentucky was very interested in starting international cooperation projects with Chinese universities, and hoped to revisit BITZH before long, together with deans of several schools. Both parties expressed full confidence in future cooperation. On behalf of the two universities, Dr. Susan Robert and President Zhen signed the framework of cooperation agreement, indicating the official start of cooperation.

Those present at the talk included Ms. He Xiaoyang, Director of International Office, Mr. Zhang Zhiwan, Assistant of Dean of Bryant Zhuhai and so on.

After the talk, Dr. Susan Roberts and Ms. Xiu talked with students from Bryant Zhuhai, who prepared presentations in English for them. Dr. Susan Roberts interacted actively with students, and thought highly of students’ competence in delivering PPT. Dr. Susan Roberts and Ms. Xiu introduced the general condition of University of Kentucky as well as the steps of application. They answered students’ questions at great length. The talk was brought to a successful end in a convivial atmosphere.
