On the afternoon of 24th May, Ms. Wynne Kam, Director of Operations of The University of Warwick Hong Kong Office paid a visit to BITZH and held the information session atQA205 inQiushi Building.

At the beginning, on behalf of BITZH, Vice President Zhen Yong extended a warm welcome to Ms. WynneKam. Meanwhile, he encouraged the students to take the chance to know more about Warwick and further their study at Warwick in the future. He also hoped that the two sides could establish a more in-depth cooperation in the future.

During the information session, Ms.WynneKamgave an introduction about the University of Warwick, focusing on the dominant projects, the application process, the requirementsof admission, the campus environment and so on.After that, she actively interacted with the students and patiently answered studnets’ questions in detail.

Ms. Wynne Kam mentioned that the University of Warwick is located in the center of England, about five kilometers away from the downtown area. The school has buses straight through Coventry and Leamington Spa. By virgin train people can arrive in London in an hour and reach Birmingham in 20 minutes.

After that, the University of Warwick was introduced in detail on its world rankings and advantages. It is one of the top 100 universities in the world, and the top research university in the UK, Ranked 7th in the 2016/17th Times UK university rankings and ranked 51st in the 2016/17 QS world university rankings. In addition, the establishment of the University of Warwick was given approval by the government in 1961 and received its Royal Charter of Incorporation in 1965, often in the top fifty.

And then, Ms. Wynne Kam introduced the application procedures of graduate programs that were generally concerned by students. She mentioned that the University of Warwick is known as one of the UK's top business schools, having a good reputation inindustrial, commercial, political subjects. Among them,School of business performances outstandingly. In the main league tables, it is home to the top five in the UK, the top 10 in Europe and the top 30 in the world. She then introduced the requirements for admission, including majors, study fees, language grades and so on.

At the end, the students asked questions such as how to apply for a specific major, whether they could apply in cross-discipline, and so on. Ms. Wynne Kam answered them with patience. The information session were brought to a successful close.
