Introduction of the University of Warwick:

The establishment of the University of Warwick was given approval by the government in 1961 and received its Royal Charter of Incorporation in 1965.

UK rankings:

- 1st most targeted university nationally by the UK’s top 100 graduate employers

Global rankings:

- Ten subjects in the world’s top 50, with one in the top 20.

- Coventry as the 39th best student city in the world, and 5th in the UK.

- 17th of the world's most international universities.

Regional Information:

The University of Warwick is right in the center of England, easy to reach by rail, car or plane from all parts of the UK and abroad.

Ideally located on the border of the West Midlands and Warwickshire, providing easy access to the major cities of Coventry and Birmingham, and the beautiful historic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Kenilworth and Royal Leamington Spa.

The campus is located three miles to the south west of Coventry City center and is set in nearly 300 hectares of natural countryside with lakes, woods and beautifully tended gardens .
