On December 11, 2015, a conference aiming at executing the international cooperation program between School of Design and Art of ZHBIT and universities in Italy was held in Room B 302, Yiyue Building, which is also the information center of School of Design and Art. Present at the meeting are Mr. He Xiaoyang, Director of international office of ZHBIT, Ms. You Yuting and Lu Fang, teachers from international office, Mr. Gao Zhenping, Deputy Dean of School of Design and Art, Mr. Zhong Qiuliang, student advisor of School of Design and Art, Ji Xin, the teacher from information center, and Du Juan, a teacher in charge of Culture and Media Center.
Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) was set up in 1966, with the main campus situated in Milan. Milan Campus is the biggest private design institute in Europe, providing majors in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Fashion Design, Jewelry Design, illustration, Photography, Scene Design and so on.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. He briefly introduces these two universities, Accademia Italiana and Istituto Europeo di Design (Rome and Milan Campus ) and shares with us the advantages of the world-renowned design country-Italy. Since Italy takes the leading position in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Jewelry Design, Car Design and so on, OIEC focuses on the implementation of cooperation program in Art and Design major with Italian universites. Mr. He introduces the cooperation programs that ZHBIT signed in November with Accademia Italiana on exchange students, exchange visitors summer camp and teachers exchange and the forthcoming cooperation agreement with IED including the above-mentioned programs.

last for one semester; tuition free; minimum IELTS: 5.5；choosing students excellent in both character and learning.
Ø Exchange Visitors Program
last for one semester; tuition of studying in Italian university for one semester should be paid; minimum IELTS: 5.5
Ø Summer Camp program
last for four weeks. Certain amount of fee; no language requirement for interpreters are accompanied.
In addition, for the above programs, board and lodging is not provided and transportation expenses is not covered either. Those who intend to apply for those programs are advised to take IELTS test early. The registration starts next year.
This meeting mainly discusses further implementation of cooperation between School of Art and Design and Accademia Italiana and IED. These two universities in Italy are quite famous in Europe and the whole world.
